Xmas Blox is a simple but enjoyable game in which you need to slide cubes to the playing field in order to group three or more of the same color and make them disappear from the board. When you start the game, there will be some cubes of different colors scattered around the board. Some of them may be stacked one over another. For every group of cubes you eliminate, you will get points. You may also get bonus points if you eliminate two groups in a row.
The game offers three modes which vary slightly: Time, Puzzle and Arcade. In Time mode, the objective is to clear the playing field as quickly as possible because the game is timed. In Puzzle mode, the goal is to eliminate all the cubes bearing a star. And finally in Arcade mode, the objective is to score a certain amount of points in order to advance to the next level. In all the levels there are several special cubes that help you score more points, get extra time, or destroy more cubes. Sadly, the game offers very simple graphics and sounds, and the music is suitable, but very repetitive.
To conclude, Xmas Blox is just a simple game which can help you pass the time if you are bored, but don't expect too much from it.
